Charger Options

One of the many customizable options we offer is the included charger. You may choose any of our available chargers with your order. Additional chargers are sold in our store under the Accessories section.

We currently offer 3 types of chargers. A wall (home) charger, a car (cigarette lighter) charger and a USB charger (which comes with a car adapter).

While you are most likely familiar with the wall and car chargers, you may not be as familiar with the USB charger. It comes with a car adapter, but can be charged by anything with a USB port. The most common of these devices would be a personal computer. In addition, many other electronics today come with a USB port. Just looking around the house might surprise you. You can find a USB port on your DVR, TV, Xbox, and even some wall outlets. You can also get a wall adapter with a USB port on it. The versatility of this charger is unmatched. Be aware, however, that this method charges slower than the other chargers, but not to a huge degree. It charges at rougly 70% of the speed of the others.

Charging Time

One of the most common questions we get is; How long do I charge my hoop or staff? The answer varies depending on the charger being used. Since we know you won't often be sitting around timing your hoop charging time, here's a good rough estimate.

For wall and car chargers, 3-5 hours is a good estimate. For the USB charger (no matter what it's plugged into - computer, car adapter, Xbox, etc.), 4-6 hours. While you can certainly charge it less time, it is not advised to charge too long. Battery damage can occur and this will either destroy or severely shorten the life of your batteries.
